If you are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, you may feel overwhelmed, isolated and in need of support. The counseling staff at VCAS is experienced in understanding the problems that surround an unplanned pregnancy. We know that your situation is unique and the decisions you make are individual and personal ones.
We offer options counseling, which means discussing the choices available to you and that you are considering. It is important to work through the information and feelings that go along with making such choices.
VCAS offers a safe and confidential environment that can assist you in taking the time you need to decide how to proceed. Depending on the choice you make, we can continue to assist you in the following ways:
• On-going counseling and support through our Child and Family Counseling Program
• Referral to additional services available in your community
• Adoption planning services through our Birth Parent Support Services Program
Fees may be paid with Medicaid and most private insurances. If you do not have insurance, we can assist you in obtaining it.
