The Child and Family Counseling
Program provides counseling and support services to children
and families who may be experiencing emotional/behavioral
challenges.
The goals of this service:
• Strengthening family relationships
• Improving communication within the family
• Facilitating individual growth
Common issues which
we work with children and families include:
• Parent-child relationship issues
• Trauma, loss, grief and abuse-related issues
• Transitional situations such as divorce and blended
families

Fees for Services:
VCAS accepts 3rd party payments including Vermont Managed Care Medicaid
(PCP). These services are available at all VCAS office locations.
